Ave de México

Ave de México is a non-profit organization with 18 years of experience working on HIV/AIDS issues in Mexico City. The organization is youth-led and participates in a national coalition of youth that seeks to influence sexual and reproductive health policies within Mexico.



The Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS (GYCA) is a youth-led, UNAIDS and UNFPA-supported alliance of over 4,000 young leaders and adult allies working in 150 countries worldwide. GYCA empowers young leaders with the knowledge, skills, resources and opportunities they need to be effective agents of change in their communities. GYCA was established by young leaders at the 2004 Bangkok International AIDS Conference and was a lead organizer of the Toronto YouthForce at the AIDS2006.



TakingITGlobal

TakingITGlobal is an international organization led by youth and empowered by technology. TakingITGlobal connects youth around the world to find inspiration, information and get involved in improving their local and global communities.



Youth Coalition

Youth Coalition is an international organization of young people between the ages of 15 & 29 committed to promoting youth sexual and reproductive rights at the national, regional and international levels. We are students, researchers, volunteers, educators, and activists.

UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is an international development agency that promotes the right of every woman, man and child to enjoy a life of health and equal opportunity. UNFPA supports countries in using population data for policies and programmes to reduce poverty and to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every birth is safe, every young person is free of HIV/AIDS, and every girl and woman is treated with dignity and respect.



World AIDS Campaign

World AIDS Campaign has been recognised as playing a unique role within civil society by supporting a strong social movement on AIDS that presses for promises to be kept. Between 2008-2010, The World AIDS Campaign will work to promote accountability, uniting campaigners around a common campaigning effort, under the slogan “Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise."

Plan International works with children, their families, communities, organisations and local governments to implement programmes at grassroots level in health, education, water and sanitation, income generation and cross-cultural communication.

Internation AIDS Society (IAS)

The International AIDS Society (IAS) is the world’s leading independent association of HIV professionals. Founded in 1988. The IAS has a membership of more than 11,000 individuals from 175 countries working at every level and in every setting of the global response to HIV/AIDS. The IAS is the custodian and lead organizer of the International AIDS Conference, and also organizes the IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention. This conference focuses on the biomedical aspects of HIV/AIDS. It brings together individuals and organizations from around the world to address current issues in HIV basic, clinical and prevention science. The IAS has young people working on the Youth Programme for the International AIDS Conferences to make sure that youth are well represented and meaningfully involved.
