Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had any good suggestions on good places to stay during the conference? We're looking for a reasonably priced place!

I recently stayed in a very reasonable priced and well-located hotel in Mexico City named Hotel Posada Viena, in the Pink Zone (Zona Rosa) area.
See:

This hotel offers from single rooms to 2-bedroom suites for groups. The hotel has a very good Argentinean restaurant, and wi-fi internet.
Hope this is useful.

It is the first time I see this site, heh.
I live in Mexico City. I am not sure if I will be attending the conference (it seems kinda late to register, and now I have to rely on my chances to be chosen as a volunteer), but I know what it's like not to know even where to stay in a trip <_<
Anyhow, I think your search, rather than based on price, should be based on the area of the city. Believe it or not, transportation itself can be hard, especially when it's extremely early or extremely late
I'm still reading about the event, but I'll try to post more info when I know where it's held and all.

Hey! There is a really great Hostel right beside the Zocolo that is cheap and clean. If you are booking for groups it is ideal, and breakfast is even included. It is super close to the metro too:

Hi, Now I am looking for some good priced youth-friendly? hotel.
As many of you have already discussed in this thread, transportation to the venue is also considered to be select an accomodation.
Is the venue of the conference really far from the central part of the city?
